Rick:
What are the specifics on these....drivers,weights, dimensions, pricing. Listening compared to SSR or other monitors?

I had a Canadian customer interested in this driver combination and he needed compact cabinets that delivered better sound than the usual commercial fare that's available. The problem is that a typical horizontally placed MTM design will have poor off-axis coverage. The problem is eliminated because of the tight driver spacing and the low crossover point available from the Scan-Speak tweeter. With the two woofers you can move the same amount of air as an 8" and the sealed box integrates very well with a subwoofer.
A comparison with the SSR is difficult since this is a much smaller cabinet and subwoofers are required. The SSR is better overall ; however, it costs quite a bit more and can be run full-range. The Trio is very neutral and has good detail. For the $ it's going to be hard to beat for excellent sound in a small package.
