Hickok 9 pin adaptor needed
« on: 19 Jun 2008, 08:36 pm »
I have a very early Hickok 534 tube tester (roll chart says 1952), which does not have a 9 pin miniature socket. Does anyone have a 9 pin adaptor that Hickok used to make for the early testers to sell? Since I mostly test the 12a family of tubes (including 5751, 7025, 6881, 5814, etc) and 6BQ5/EL84 tubes the tester is almost useless without the adaptor. Thanks.

Hey!

This could be hard to come by :?

I think your best bet is to check eBay regularly. But I think it is more likely that when you find one it will be on and come with the tester.

   Good luck :D

Thanks Buddy, I've been checking ebay for the past 2 weeks and will continue to do so.
