I have horizontally biamoped my RM-40's with a Marchand crossover, crossing over at 200 hz. I am using  tubes (triode mode) on the tops and SS on the bottoms. How do I best get proper ballance between the top and bottom? Do I run broad frequency white noise from my test CD and ballance the low end against the high end using a SPL meter and  the output controls on the Marchand? Thanks.

i dunno anyting about white noise.  for setting response between my monitors & subs, i use a pink noise generator w/graphic equalizer, tho a hand-held spl meter should also work yust as well.  fine-tune by ear...

also, i assume the lo-pass x-over on your rm-40's have been bypassed...
