Thanks, Scott!

I just had a chance to get online and post a quick thank you to Scott and his wife.
Scott,
You were so gracious to host Bob and I this past Sunday!  You definitely lit a fire under my friend, and he wants to make contact with the G.A.S. member in Quincy.
It was lots of fun to take the tour, from the office system, then the exercise room, the main room, and then the deck.
I know we didn't have time, but I would have loved to hook up that flea amp from the exercise room in place of your Welbourne mono's, just to "see" if I could have detected any difference.  I believe you said it was a local person who had built it.  It was a honey of an amp with the Altecs.
Please thank your wife again for us, as she was a great hostess, and I plan to make that salad recipe tonight for my 89 year old mom.
Hope to see you and other members of G.A.S. at some sanctioned event.

Hi Lyndon, Bob,

I'll be sure to pass your thanks onto Laura  :green:

I'm glad you guys finally got a chance to stop by. Theres something about the system in the Blue Room that gets people charged up. Like said when you were here, it's been a long, long journey trying to get the sound I do out of that room.....and I'm still not done (as you saw from the makeshift baffles). I'm getting really close though.

That little 2A3 driving the Altec's came from Anthony Cirella at Handmade Electronics up in Pennsylvania. It's really nice sounding unit and not overly priced considering it's loaded with Blackgates and Teflon caps. It plays pretty will with the monster horns....not overly accurate but just tons of fun to listen to.

Hey Bob, when you get ready to invest in your two channel rig, give me a call and I can walk you though all we talked about over the weekend. Oh, and be sure to keep an eye on our Circle, you (and Lyndon both) are more than welcome at any of our gatherings.

Lyndon, be sure to give us a shout when you make it back into town. We'll have to get back together again  :thumb:
