Thought I'd try to resurrect this thread again....has anyone purchased either the Songsurround I or IIs?  Impressions? If you have the the smaller what is your room size?

I just recently received a pair of Song Surround I's. As I haven't heard the Song Towers, I can't give you a direct comparison. I have been extremely impressed with the midrange characteristics of this speaker. The imaging is great, and the soundstage is wide and precise. The depth of the soundstage at my house isn't as noticeable as the width, though I have heard that the depth on the Towers is great. I don't have the perfect ideal placement though... I can't wait until I get a dedicated spot for these guys. I have them about 18" from the rear wall, and a pair of Real Traps RFZ panels for the first reflection point. I am extremely tempted to buy 3 more of the Surround I's for 5 channels of identical speakers.  Oh yeah, my room is about 7x10.5.
