I may try to sneak in a new center channel speaker before the a new Pre/pro since the chip delay will push the release of the new models out a few months.

I read about the new 6-1/2" Mega woofer and was wondering if this is the same or similar woofer used to upgrade the LCRjr.? The spec's say the LRC has a 6" woofer and I'm just wondering if this megawoofer is similar. All the pictures of the LRC megawoofer I see have a blunt phase plug while the pictures of the new megawoofer has acone shaped plug.

It's the same driver, the 40oz (really big motor) 4 layer voicecoil, woven carbon fiber cone, natural rubber surround 6 1/2" Megawoofer.  It's standard in the latest version of the LRC ($950) and a $200 upgrade in the LRC Jr ($579) and 626Jr pair.

In speaking with B, he mentioned that the LRCjr price he posted above of $579 was a "typo".

The LRC is actually $549. which effectively reduces the LRCjr with FST and MegaWoofs to $949.
