1 pair - good condition but milled spades are bad looking - I was using these on my Vandersteen 5A's and had to cut them to fit my new speakers - now the ends are to short to reach the posts on my speakers  :duh: :duh: :duh:

Robert could prob. redo them for a small charge.  They are labeled version !! but are really !!! - Robert made a mistake when stamping them - I have an email to that effect if you require it - he also sent me the new version !!! labels that you can put on.   $275 shipped - paypal prefered.

It was brought to my attention that the cables I'm advertising are the "HI-end" part of the bi-wire set I have.  I didn't even think of that.  SOoo,  I'm going to sell the entire biwire set - 2 biwire high cables and 2 biwire lowend cables - the low end have the milled spades cut to fit Vandersteen barrier strips on the speaker side and standard spade size on the amp end(the amp end of the Hi-end set is also standard spade size).  So you get 4 individual cables with +/- on each cable.  Sorry for the confusion ;)  So, I'll sell all 4 cables for $650 - These were promo'd for $1300. Excellent cables - I'll be upgrading to the Ridge Street Alethias!.

Thanks
Tony

Wow Tony - That's a very generous price!

These were RSAD demos Tony bought from us in Feb. '08. I can tell you he paid a good amount more. The !! designation was indeed by accident. We were just transitioning from !! to !!! when we made these but to be clear, these are not the newest "P"!!! R-v3 designation and neither are they $1770.00 for new at our current promo pricing.

Yes, we can re-do the ends and put the appropriate badges on them. Current badges are finished as:

Length will wind up to be about 5' 8". You can inquire with us for cost to re-do the ends.

Tony just acquired a pair of Innersound Kaya 'stats (very nice speaks BTW) and will be upgrading to the Alethias!.

A small Brief regarding our biwire approach:

Biwire "Shotgun" Illustration
Each cable has its own +/- conductors.
A word on our Biwire Speaker Cables. As seen in the illustration to the left, our Biwire cables are two discrete sets of cables. This is also termed as "Shotgun". In our experience, we believe the Shotgun approach will yield the best performance when biwiring. The benefits are had because this arrangement allows distance of the low end cable from the high end cable. This minimizes the lower end cable's electrical field's ability to influence the high end cable. This isn't so with the more common biwire approach of sheathing both pairs in one jacket or just splitting the number of conductors in a standard cable to run it biwire. Our discrete approach also lets us tweak the low end and high end cables to perform optimally to each cable's requirements. While the low end cable uses 7 ga. conductors (edit: In this set), the high end cable uses 12 ga.

Cheers!

Tony, can you send me, or post, photos of the low end cable ends.  Not sure when you say cut for the 5A post how much different it would be than the "U"-shaped lug cutout.

I definitely prefer my Poiemas over any other SC's so far and bi-wiring would be great.

Hi Pete, what I meant about the spade is that the Vandy barrier strip is only about 1/2" wide and I had Robert trim a little off the sides of the spade so they would fit.  The amp end is the standard spade size on both the hi-end and low-end cables.  I cut off the spade legs and recut it myself on the hi-end set but now the + and - isn't long enough to bridge the binding posts on the speakers... Hope that makes sense ;)
