The SmartMatrix I have for sale comes with an additional aluminum suction armwand, so you can use one exclusively for rinse and one with the cleaning fluid. This armwand alone has a 55 dollar value. Asking price: $650
Many online retailers have this machine priced at +/- $1K now. The RCM is about 10 months old and in perfect condition mechanically and cosmetically. There are +/- 26 months left on the 3 year warranty and I have permission from Clearaudo Germany to transfer it.
The Smart Matrix is essentially a more luxurious version of the VPI 16.5 RCM. I think it looks better and you get a left and right turn option which works instantly. In addition the Clearaudio's fluid tank contains a sensor to shut off the machine if the level is too high, preventing leaking. The vacuum motor has an overheat sensor. I would guess shipping in USA would be at least 50 dollars but this is something to be determined in more detail with the potential buyer. If you are in the Bay Area (CA) I would say pick-up is beneficial.
