Hey!
Movie film cams don't worth much these days.

Although some are worth more than other.

Bolex of Switzerland made excellent 8mm and 16mm movie film cams back than and not just that they also make some great lenses for their cams also.
I do have a 16mm Bolex H-16 Rex 5 with 18-86mm Vario-Switar zoom on my shelf right now which I bought back when I was taking a film making class. I used it once or twice... movie making wasn't for me.

Beautiful 16mm movie cam and still runs like a fine Swiss watch.

Since I don't use it now I'm thinking of selling... sadly the price of this cam went down and it is harder to find a buyer than couple of years before.

If you want to have fun you know that you could still get 8mm and 16mm movie films for these cameras... and at least here in NYC there is still a movie film lab that develop these films. But it is a pain using these... a roll of 8mm film of which is 50ft long will run about 2min and 47sec at 24FPS I think and not to mention that these will cost a lot more than a 60min DV tape

Anyway, your best bet to check the current price for these cams is eBay.

Most 8mm don't really worth much these days. So, maybe you could just keep them and use them to decorate your home.

Take care,
Buddy
