The Yamaha subs are quite good with S-1 and we listed two models on amazon.nuforce-icon.com
Our own W-1 sub will arrive Jan 15 2009

WHy do you need a subwoofer anyway?

SO for a full Nuforce setup it would be like this:

COmputer --> USB Dac --> Nuforice Icon --> Subwoofer --> Nuforce Icon S-1 speaker (2)

I have been using the S1's with my TV for a couple of months and unless you really want the bass thump, the S1's are fine by themselves...
