Here it is  :o -- I've heard and love the musicality  :D of the JMR Trentes and have read a lot about the Green Mountain Audio Europas  :? .  If you take the cost factor out of the equation to a 70% level (i.e. Trentes are only 30% more expensive) and consider that the bi-wiring expense as a non-issue -- what advantages do either of these have over the others from your perspectives?  :?:

Please, any additional suggestions other than stand-speakers, are not required.  If you've got negative $0.02   that's especially cool.  The challenge with most reviews is that there is little of the shortside of the equipment. :flak:   Anyway -- whatever you've got I would appreciate.

Music -- vocals, some rock, jazz, females 70% of time, Gear:  tubes (50WPC) digital source primarily (no TT).  Thanks. :|

I have owned the Twins,Trentes, and Offrandes at one time and for a short period all at the same time. I still have the Trentes, as to me they represent the "sweet spot" in the Reynaud monitor line-up. In my 19x15x10 room I have powered them with amps as small as the ASL Waves while still obtaining levels in the mid 90db range. I currently operate them with alternately the Granite Audio 60wpc tube monos and the Music Reference RM-10 at 30wpc, so your amp is more than sufficient. A popular amp with the Trentes with the prior distributor was the low wattage Audion. The Trentes are not bright they are accurate, yet convey the emotion of the music. As there transmission line terminates in the front they should not and have not been that difficult to place in several different rooms. Also currently own the Europas and they are too an excellent yet different speaker. They give the Trentes a real run for the money and are a tremendous bargain, but do give up a little on the bottom end to the Trentes larger cabinet. As was recommended earlier check out Bob's reviews of all three of the Reynaud's for his thoughts on them as a group. Also the current issue of Bound for Sound has a very positive and thorough review of the Trentes as well
