Anyone have Legos they don't want?
« on: 26 May 2008, 09:28 pm »
My two boys, Andrew and Scott are Lego insane, I mean crazy!!

If you guys have any Lego pieces you don't want or your guys are out of the Lego phase
please send them to me, I will send you music in return. Is that legal?
Well I don't know what else I can offer, these guys have an insatiable appetite for this stuff, they are online non stop with Legos.

Many thanks

Mike

Have them build a Lego speaker cabinet, send it to us, and we will enter it in our speaker building competition! :D

Dr. Prat, I've made some phone calls, asked neighbors...no results yet. Seems like folks hang on to Legos like they are worth their weight in gold! :o

Mike....
You might check out your local "Craigslist"....
I did see some listed on the NYC list. Just type in "Lego"... :thumb:

They are.
Well, maybe not quite, but they're weight/worth ratio is about the same as a nice steak dinner.

A young friend of mine is into "Bionicles." I am partly responsible for filling a shelf in his room with them... Lego just isn't what it was when I was a kid, that's for sure...

We love legos.  At 42 I still enjoy building with the boys (6&8 ).  I still have mine from 1975 when I was a kid...fun for the whole family  :D

I agree, the basic pieces sure made you get creative and think.  I do like the right angle pieces though.  The custom pieces/ships are cool but once the ship is destroyed it is nearly impossible to reconstruct unless you have the instructions or 24 hours.
