I'm thinking about bidding on these tubes, but don't know if the tested numbers look good, what do you think?  Any experince with the seller's quality of tubes?

While I only need two of these for my Dodd, if the price is right... I'll buy the lot of three.

Now you need to delete this thread so not to have us all bidding against each other.  :duh:

:duh:  and I thought you guys were my friends!!  :bawl:

Seriously though... I really do appreciate your help.  I wont be bidding on these as it appears I may be better off continuing my search for the sure thing.

Thanks guys, you may have saved me money and regret.

These don't look too good to me at all ... the metal deposits on the glass visible near the bottom are a sign of heavy use.  Plus, I have found that Amperex PQs tend to be prone to noise after long use (at least, all 6 of mine are too noisy to use).  I basically refuse to buy used 6DJ8s/6922s at this point, since they are such a "risky" tube noise-wise.  JMHO!

If you can, try to find some that are new in box!  I've found a lot of bargains that were 100% new :thumb:

FWIW, I have about 60 6DJ8 tubes right now, new in box ... I sold all of my non-noisy used Amperex for <$10/each, and put the noisy ones in a box for "testing" purposes or for sticking in old test equipment.

Nope -- I just have my "private reserve lifetime stock" at this point (and a bunch of noisy junk tubes) :thumb:
