after 100 or so hours of break in, and 10 hours of listening, my opinion of these is getting stronger. only problem is there is a very very faint background voice coming from them, saying how can you possibly exist without having another 2 to power the surrounds. Seems Bryston may be programing the 28's so everything else sounds like ^$^^&*, hmmmmm. My 28's in front have managed to make a 250 per channel, pre Harmon, Levinson product sound like a Bose wave radio. I need to email James my seriel #'s and see if there is a quick reprogram to get rid of this faint voice. Since these are my first Bryston purchases, I was wondering if maybe Bryston had a policy, like maybe subway or pizza hut, buy 4 and get 1 free? naaaaaaa. well, if you dont ask you dont get. As of now, looks like Bryston has got a new customer for life. I will be ordering 2 more 28's in the near future. I do listen to DVD surround concerts, where there is more happening from the rears than just clapping.
Congrats on a great reference class product James. I really can not imagine anything available that can compete with these.
