This may have been previously discussed, I searched but did not find.
What is the retail price going to be on the new DAC?

James, considering I am slightly "dumb" for lack of a better word, on DAC hookup  The DAC input would connect to the CD/DVD toshlink or RCA Coaxial connector out correct? then connect to the preamp CD 2 channel input? My Mac multiplayer says it spins a CD 4x overspeed, would this effect whether or not a DAC could be used with it?
thanks in advance for the info.

Hi Split,

Correct you can use the toshlink or the RCA Coax (I recommend the Coax) into the Bryston External DAC and then the DAC feeds the preamp input with either the RCA or XLR analog outputs on the BDA-1.

The 4 times speed is not an issue.

Hello James,

When might we see info/specs on the standalone dac on your website? Specifically, does it include a USB input?

Thanks.
