Is that Seas coaxial driver far behind the excel drivers? I do like the idea of coaxial drivers and had been thinking lately of trying that driver married to a pair of 8 inch or a single 10 inch bass driver as a 3 way active system with DEQX. I just wonder though whether the benefits of coaxially mounted "medium" quality drivers outweighs "better" quality drivers separated vertically. Just thinking out loud.

The coincident drivers are along the lines of the Prestige series which have different motor structures and suspensions from the Excel drivers. It really depends on what your performance goals are. The main advantage of the MF7 is the even dispersion which gives smoother vertical response and is uniform in both the horizontal and vertical planes.
