FS: matched pair 12FQ7 cancelled

Got these about a year ago for my modified Minimax preamp and never used them and don't see that I'll ever use them. They were bought new from Mike at Quicksilver so they are the audio quality variety (where most of the ones available on the open market are not -- so I'm told.) Paid $60 for the pair, asking $45 shipped inlower 48 and no paypal fees.

This should be of particular interest to some Quicksilver and Manley amp owners (subs for 6414 in many situations -- check with your manufacturer first), and of course Eastern Minimax owners that have the factory mods.

No, unfortunately I had to sell it to another AC member. It had nothing to do with sonics or performance, just couldn't afford to keep it and the new integrated both. Wish I had it now though

Your mini is very happy in its new home, Jim. I will let you know first if I ever decide to upgrade.

BTW, Jim is a great seller. I watch his sale items very closely... Nice gear in great condition.

Hey Richadoo,

Good to hear it went to another AC member. Jim is very good to work with as we had exchanged some gear before as well.

How do you like it? I have just added several additions to my system, mostly mods aa and I really want to upgrade my already first time factory modded Minimax. I have yet to pull the trigger though, I like the sonic signature now and would hate to see the magic lost.

BTW, try to capture the elusive U707. I have not anything else like it

OH, never mind. I'll hold onto these and put them in my odd-ball tube box and then someday when Quicksilver is selling them for $60 apiece, I will try to sell them again.
