Maybe I'm losing my mind, but when I connected the device to the amp it seemed as if the soundstage went deeper and the instruments jumped up and locked into place like never before.  I'll have to take them out and try this again just to be sure.

What did you connect...a Dakiom? (the topic has been veering of late ).

If so, which one....the rca or the speaker lead version and was it the $39, the $99 or priciest one they make?

Yeah, what you experienced has been mine, too...the instruments just 'lock' into place with meandering and are more fully evident within the recording.  The Dakiom's are good - they are not the only thing that improves fidelity out there, but apparently critically damping and stabilization of feedback is a real benefit to sonics  :thumb:

The A263 for $139.  Has bare wires you add to the amp itself.

Try the rca/in-line Dakiom's (I think they are 'R' versions).  I found them to be even better at what they do.

I have tube amps, inherently little feedback used, so the A versions I have are useless I've found.  What amp do you use - if it's solid state that's probably why you are happy with them.

Plug one into your CDP and tell us what you think?  I'm not sure I can go back to any CDP without one, frankly (tho it didn't work with my old MSB Gold Link III DAC, so it doesn't universally work with all)

Thanks to this thread, I ordered the new CD 2 channel R 263 stabilizer with 30 day full refund including return shipping. Should have some response this holiday weekend. Have a great one.

I have found them to be very effective with some equipment and not so with others. I believe they offer a trial. Why not try them?
