All you headbangers- check out The Codex!

Man, The Codex is friggin' amazing!   It's ex-Yngwie singer Mark Boals and the Starbreaker guitarist.  Absolutely top notch meodic/prog metal; probably the best metal album I've heard since TNT's My Religion.

If you're at all into metal, this one's a can't miss! :thumb:

Try here.  Some of my faves:  Garden of Grief, Bring Down the Moon, Mystery & You Can Have It All.

For some reason they have the name screwed up- it's listed un "Code X" instead of Codex. :duh:

That guitarist (Magnus Karlsson) that played on the Codex cd is now with Primal Fear....

Man, I hate sites like that. :duh:  They just play the first 20-30 seconds; what does that tell you?  I listened to a couple and they don't even play far enough to get to the vocals! :o

Ever hit the CDBaby site, Wolfy?  They have something like 1-2 minute samples cut out of the middle of the song.  A much better way to do it!

BTW, the link I gave is a bit more work to get to but it gives you a more useful sample.
