I would say that's bad :duh: .  Reason:  should at least own a copy of the McDonald jingle, not more than that.  Never enamored about him, but.... his jingles are worthwhile.  That's how he made his name I thought.

Clearly, Barry Manilow is one of music's great storytellers...

At the Copa - Copacabana -
Hottest spot north of Havana.
At the Copa - Copacabana -
Music and passion were always the fashion.
At the Copa - Copacabana -
Don't fall in love...

Hey!

Great! Now that song is stuck in my head now... thanks a lot!

But seriously... that "Copacabana" is one of the catchiest song ever.   :icon_lol:

Take care,

Chris

"(He'll) be alive forever,
and, he wrote the first song!"

Yes, karaoke has killed many songs which I could decently listen to before but not after its been bludgeoned by karaoke wannabees! This is one of them!

I always buy Band-Aid bandages. "I'm stuck on band-aid." 25 years later the jingle is still working.

Wow, I just looked and found out I really do NOT have any Barry Manilow either.
- Barry White - yes.
- My parents had some Barry Sisters records, I think.
- Barry Bonds - well I do have some steroids in the medicine cabinet from some illness or other.
- I do like reading Dave Barry.
- I did have a Barium enema once.

For that matter, I don't have any Kenny G. Must do something to round out my collection.

Enjoy,
Bob

I think he recently was at Verizon Center.  He is still filling 1st rate arenas.  Who is his audience?

Guys, I'm more than a little disappointed.
I think there's a greater question here that seems to have been ignored;

"Does Barry Manilow own any Patricia Barber CD's."

THAT is the real question.

PLEASE come to my house and take as many Manilow LP's CD'S and cassette tapes as you want. The only caveat is you'll have to wrestle my wife for them, as she is a Manilow fanatic. Several cassettes have been worn out and replaced over the years. Sure, Manilow has written some memorable songs, but a little Barry goes along way. The only good album that I can tolerate is his "Paradise Cafe" because it has Jerry Mulligan (bari Sax) on it.

You're probably O.K. if you have lots of early Wayne Newton, especially if it includes his classic
smash hit, 'Danke Schoen'...if not, I'd get on the internet and get some B.M. STAT--!

Whilst editing together old VHS tape footage from grade school I discovered I had scored a credits sequence on one video to "Hey Mambo" by Barry Manilow.  I was moderately mortified with my old self.  It wasn't my fault though, my mom listened to that crap I swear! :duh:

Didn't Barry Manilow write the theme song for The Tonight Show?
