Yeah but why would anybody want to use anything other than the nice heavy Bryston remote. I have been contemplating a programable remote. SONY, Logitech or Rotel but actually was going to use the programable to consolidate the TV, Cable box, and DVD player.
After using the Bryston remote (BP25) the other remotes feel like toys. The remote for the BCD1 works on the preamp. So instead of 5-6 remotes. I would be down to two.
If you are consolidating existing, working remotes, I would strongly recommend a learning remote. These are typically less expensive than the ones with extensive code "libraries"
