I run the MAC HC power cords in my system. Great for my Odyssey Stratos Extreme. This is about the best bang for the buck PC out there.

I just received my MAC palladium interconnects and I'm wondering if anyone who owns these could tell me if they have directionality and, if, so, does the MAC logo go at the source end or the output end?

I'm using the MAC Source with my Bel Canto DAC-2 and the MAC HC provides power to my EMB-1000 sub. Outstanding PCs, and for the sale prices wow!

Most MAC cables are not directional, including the Palladiums. The logo'd end is for reference only.

The Palladiums & UltraSilver+'s are not shielded cables. I've found through much research that these cables with shielding, suffer from the soundstage collapsing as well as poor imaging.

Hi Steve,
I got the Sound Pipes on Thursday and once putting them in my system (amp and preamp), I noticed that the imaging and tone changed for the better. I'm very impressed with their build quality as well (even though they didn't arrive in a velvet-lined walnut box).

Thanks for the bargain on some great cords.

I received my Palladiums and burned them in for about 60 hours on my Frykleaner as you recommended. They went into my system today. All I can say is WOW! They are a revelation. I am hearing instruments and nuances I have never before heard on recordings that I've listened to for over 15 years. They are unbelievably detailed, yet as smooth as velvet. Usually getting that much detail means you pay the price of added harshness and sibilance, but not with these. Now I just have to save up enough to buy some more

. The soundstage is HUGE, going well beyond my speakers on either side, yet with pinpoint accuracy.
Thanks so much for such great service and such a fantastic product at a great price.
