Selling my Bolder mod'd Squeezebox 3.  Has Full Mod Enthusiast Level (analog and digital outputs modified!) with Silver Bybee Purifiers in Analog outputs and Copper Bybee Purifier in Digital output.  Operates wireless or hard wired.

Had Wayne check it out and certify all work done above in October 2007 in route from previous owner to me.

Sorry, no pictures at the moment.  Unit is silver trim.  I am second owner.  Have original Squeezebox box and remote control but no oem wall wart power supply.

I also have a Bolder Modified ELPAC WM220-1 PS (new October 2007) that I would sell as a combo with above, or separately if SB3 buyer does not need one.  Must sell SB3 first before entertaining offers for ELPAC PS only.

You will need to check out the Bolder website for all the mods detailed information done to the unit.  In summary the highlights include;

*The Enthusiast Full Mod upgrades the parts and circuitry of the SB's internal power supplies. The mod also removes all the stock parts from the analog section. The signal path is now run direct from the internal DAC through very high quality coupling capacitors to new RCA jacks.

*The output bypass capacitor is the Sonicap Platinum Teflon capacitor. This also includes the Silver Bybee Purifiers in the analog outputs and Copper Bybee Purifier in the Digital output signal path.  Bybee Purifiers give your sound a "blacker" background.

It is really great to have the full enthusiast analog and digital mods to allow you the flexibility to run straight analog into your preamp or amp direct and eventually add / or compare to an outboard DAC.  According to Wayne, he recommends the best sound is achieved by not using an outboard dac, but by using the Bolder Mod'd. SB3 onboard dac with a superior power supply. 

There are no moving parts to wear out and the ~600 hundred hours of Black Gate and Sonicap break in time is already accomplished for your listening pleasure.

The approximate original value of the SB3, F.E. mods and Silver and Copper Bybees and ELPAC was approximately $1,600.
I am offering the modified SB3 (only) for $895 without the mod'd ELPAC PS.  Add the Bolder ELPAC PS as a combo for $960 total.  I will entertain reasonable offers, but ignore lowballers.  My price is +/- 60% of new and very reasonable. 

Note - Fwiw, I will be traveling for work the week of April 28.  Most likely would not be able to ship unit until that weekend I return (May 2nd).

An idea - if you are interested in this Bolder Full Mod Enthusiast SB3 but may not want the Bybees (and their premium expense), Wayne can remove them for a nominal fee.  Plus, you could have Wayne perform any other mods desired at the same time. 

It has two Silver bybees in the analog section and 1 Copper Bybee in the digital output.  I am receptive to discuss removing the Bybees and keeping them for another project of mine.  Make me a reasonable offer if this is of interest.

Like the Zevon quote. I'm very interested in the Elpac Power Supply, since it is now for sale separately. I take it this is the one with two voltage outputs?

I live in Mill Valley, CA. How much for that with shipping?
