Howdy- I'm looking for a DVD player for under $200 that has an optical out so I can connect it to my Benchmark Dac1 to play audio cd's plus DVD's when using it to spin DVD's for the tv. Any suggestions?

The Oppo DV-980H.

Has won some Audioholics and Absolute Sound awards.  It certainly doesn't compete with the best transports out there, but it's pretty good for the price.  And it's a great DVD player.

The 980H has better audio than the other models.
