I purchased this from a fellow 'Circler a few weeks ago and used it in a pre-amp-less system. But things changed - as they often do - and I now need a preamp due to an additional source, so this is redundant as the preamp provides the gain and dynamics this was purchased for. Up for grabs now.
The Burson Buffer has garnered many accolades due to its ability to transparently match impedances and give the music a great bass foundation. I was amazed at the bass tightness and depth this imparted to my system while still refusing to impart its own flavor to the overall music. Google around and see what the rags are saying. A fair share of AC members use this with great results also; in fact it was based on recommendations from two of them that I bought it and it delivered exactly as they stated.
