Dual Mono.  Big, warm sound.  Most of the caps have been upgraded.  Upgraded power supply, with big rectifiers, substantially larger capacitance, bypass caps, etc.  Runs cool.

Also, Teflon power cord, and upgraded RCA jacks.  Pretty good binding posts, too.

Unit weighs about 30 lbs.  I think it’s rated it 30 wpc or 40 wpc, but plays much bigger.  Rest assured, it sounds like it’s been modded.

So overall, a nice “little” power amp. 

One caveat, this amp doesn’t have a power switch.  I believe that the stock switch was in rough shape, and when my buddy did the mod, he didn’t have a suitable replacement handy—and he probably wanted to keep the mod simple.  I switch the amp on and off with a power strip.  (I do have a good power strip available.  Four outlets, metal chassis, heavy power cord.  New in box.  Made by SPC Technology.)
