Hello everyone, it's been awhile. Lately things have been slow, but are now picking up somewhat. In my spare time I have been working on several new products, and toying around with new circuits and such.
The best thing is that I have decided to go to direct sales only, no dealers anymore except for Underwood HiFi who is a distiributor of my product and not a dealer. In doing this I can offer lower prices on the entire line of DODD AUDIO products. In the very near future I will have an inventory of product.
I am going to have a sale on certain items in current production for a short period of time. The battery preamp which by now most everyone is aware of sells for $3300. I am not sure what the new prices will be yet, but during this sale I am selling them for $2499 plus shipping. Offered in only Maple or Rosewood finish. Also I am going to offer the 3rd gen 120's for a ridiculously low price of $3995/pair plus shipping.
Due to cost increases in certain areas these have went up to $5500 a pair. Also these are offered in only Maple or Rosewood finish.
I have a new pair of 100 watt monoblocks that use a quad of 6L6's and 3, 5687 frontend tubes. These new amps sound very simialr to the 3rd gen 120's except for the bottom end. On these amps it is incredibly powerful and controlled. It could be due to the massive power supply I used in them or it could be the new output transformer I designed for them. They look just like the 120's except the transformers are not covered with a can and the top plate is not chrome, this was the only way to keep costs down on these. Well I am going to introduce them for $3599/pair plus shipping. Again available in only Maple or Rosewood.
Everything listed here is half down and balance on delivery. I will build everything as quickly as I can and get it delivered ASAP. It gets tough to handle everything as I am a single guy outfit.
