In Windows you should be able to do this.  Start>Run, then type: "cmd /c tree z:\  > albums.txt"  where z:\ is the path to your albums.  This will give you a file called "albums.txt" in c:\Documents and Settings\?? .  The issue with this is that the text file also has "AAAA" preceeding every entry.  Unfortunately I do not know how to get rid of this except by manually deleting the A's.  In the end it looks like this:
Z:\
ÃÄÄÄ10000 Maniacs
³   ÀÄÄÄOur Time In Eden
ÃÄÄÄA Perfect Circle
³   ÃÄÄÄMer de Noms
³   ÀÄÄÄThirteenth Step
ÃÄÄÄAC DC
³   ÃÄÄÄBack In Black
³   ÃÄÄÄFly On The Wall
³   ÃÄÄÄHigh Voltage
³   ÃÄÄÄHighway To Hell
³   ÃÄÄÄIf You Want Blood You've Got It
³   ÃÄÄÄLive-Disc 1
³   ÃÄÄÄLive-Disc 2
³   ÀÄÄÄPowerage
ÃÄÄÄAce Of Base
³   ÀÄÄÄThe Sign
ÃÄÄÄAerosmith
³   ÀÄÄÄAerosmith Greatest Hits
ÃÄÄÄAlan Parsons
³   ÀÄÄÄTales of Mystery and Imagination
ÃÄÄÄAlanis Morissette
³   ÀÄÄÄmtv unplugged
ÃÄÄÄAlbert Collins
³   ÀÄÄÄIceman
ÃÄÄÄAlice Cooper
³   ÃÄÄÄBillion Dollar Babies
³   ÃÄÄÄGreatest Hits
³   ÀÄÄÄWelcome To My Nightmare (Expanded Digital Remaster)

Good luck,
Ed

I thought I would try to save to album.doc.  When I did it tried to open in Word, Word needed a file from my Microsoft Office 2000 Pro disk so I loaded the disc and it found the files it wanted.  Word then came up with a window asking if I wanted to use various conversions, it started with Japanese which showed the AAAA as Japanese characters.  I looked for a bit and chose Arabic Dos, this is the result:

Z:\

There is a utility called Directory Printer at www.karenware.com.
The direct link is:
http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn.asp

You can use it to save to a text file or send it to a printer.
It has check boxes so you can select the elements of the file listing you want.
