Selling my Sony 7700 with the Empirical Audio mod Turbo 2, this mod addressed the cd player to be used as a transport, check their website to see what they did. Much damping material and ers paper was used as well as a new captive power cord. Chassis is copper
Transports do make a difference, great tone, very natural sound(the big Jensen cap). Unit is about twice the weight of the original.
This is a great cheap way to get into a great transport to take you to the next level.
