Well Fellas, it's that time again. The GAS Music Caravan is just around the corner. The second Sat. in May looks good. This always turns out to be a nice event. We get to hear gear, buy music, drink beer, and tell lies. Not a bad way to enjoy the day.  If this your first time this is kinda how it goes.

1.10 am           Breakfast at the U. City Grill                 ( 6696 Enright - 314.721.3073 )
2.11 am          Vintage Vinyl                                     (6610 Delmar - 314.721.4096)
3.12:30 pm   Euclid Records                                ( 601 East Lockwood 314.961.8978)
4. 1:30          Music For Pleasure                         (7475 BigBend Blvd 314-961-5747)
               Or  St.Louis Stereo                             ( 2020 Washington )

5. 4:00 till ?    Record Exchange/Food&Beer        (5320 Hampton Ave - (314)832-3220)

If anyone would like to add anything or has any suggestions  throw it out there. All I can say is save your coins cause your gonna need them.

Might actually be able to make this one.  Sounds like a ball.

EDIT:  2nd Sat in May is Mother's Day.  Probably not a good way to build up WAF points...  :duh:

Uh Oh, I think we've got a family gathering that day. I'll have to check the calendar to see.

3rd or 17th look good to me.  Wife's out of town on the 3rd, so I could stay out later and play.

3rd is out for me as it looks like I'll be going to AKFest.  Don't hold on me though if that's good for everyone else.  17th would work for me.

Hi Guys - FYI - Streetside on Delmar closed a few months back.  Also, in case you missed it in a different post of mine, if my new set up is up and running, I'm thinking of having a gathering at my place on the day of the Caravan since I live right behind Blueberry Hill.  I don't have any preference for weekends.  Any should work for me.

I finally checked the calendar (but don't schedule around me by any means).

The first Saturday (3rd) we've got about 70 people coming out to the house to see my son off to Iraq (no worries, he's not a foot solder, he's an Avionics Technician).
The 2nd Saturday (10th) is 50/50 as its the day before Mothers day. We might be doing something with my son and mothers again, not sure.
The 3rd Saturday (17th) is wide open, in fact its National Pack Rats Day, the perfect day to go buy some more vinyl
The 4th Saturday (24th) we should be out covering VSAC 2008 in Portland.
The 5th Saturday (31st)  is too far out to see on my crystal ball. We might be back by then but maybe not. It depends on how much fun we are having on holiday. Besides, I really need a break from my job. In fact, I may not come back at all.

Hey Kirch, were you talking about having everybody over after we get done with our last stop at the Record Exchange?

We could do it after Record Exchange, sure!  If we're walking around the loop in the AM though, we could also walk over to my place after VV.  I'm flexible.

Well I just found out I gotta go to a graduation on the 17th. Looks like it might be the 31st or maybe working on June.

So Sturgus, did we ever settle on a firm date? Looks like I might still be in town the end of the month.

Scott, I was wondering if the 31st is good for most people? Also there is a concert on that day in the Clayton Park. Cassandra Wilson is one of the acts.
