Here's the your chance to get a good deal on the amp that will pull at your heartstrings, but not stab you through it. (but don't get it wet either) What's the catch? Well, you will probably want to send it into the Manley service center to get the "master bias pot" installed. (More details on their site) The amp works, it sounds good; but the bias trims are at the ends of their travel and the bias is close, but no cigar. So it's not ideal. However, Manley can install this pot which will allow you to bias the amp with the "hotter" tubes my particular version came with so you'll have more wiggle room. I've spoken with their tech on this, I just never got around to sending it in myself.
Cosmetic condition is excellent. Will ship in original full-ass Manley\manly packaging. Snatch it here before the slobbering masses at Audiogon get it! This is easily half the price of anything going there. Remember, this is a working amp that just needs a little TLC in the bias department, it's not broken. You may end up spending an equal or lesser amount getting it worked on as you'd spend for another used model, and then with the trim pot you will also have the added flexibility of tube rolling, if that's your thing.
I would really like to sell this (though it pains me) as my car just went up in smoke.
