Apparently Firefox ignores the color profile embedded in JPEG images. So even if you use SRGB all the way through your workflow, the results in Firefox are... something different. Here's a screenshot (PNG) that illustrates the difference -

I see what you mean. While researching this topic I came across a nice web browser color management tutorial with many examples like yours.

Firefox 3 will have color management when it is out of beta, don't know if it will be enabled by default.

I also came across a cool free site to test how your site looks in over 50 browsers, it will take a snapshot of the url you type in.
