It happened like this...  stress, divorce, health issues, more stress, then retirement.

to add fuel to the fire....you might throw in The Absolute Sound's Review...
the costs for Manufaturing that egg module.... he had a good product.

That TAS review dates back to 1989... long before all those personal issues evolved.  The on going production cost of the aluminum egg wasn't that bad, but the initial costs for making the mold were quite / very "substantial" to say the least.

In his words, he "had a good go with it."  Even with the fall out from his divorce, he ain't suffering.  Waveform was a good and profitable venture.  You don't see his speakers come up too often an AG.  The Mach 17 was a true speaker "system" consisting of amplifiers and active crossovers.
