After hearing these Audiovox (aka Jensen) 3-way speakers for the first time, I immediately put my Magnepans up for sale. They do everything the Maggies can do and much more. Incredibly dynamic with a treble extension that will make you cry. A midrange that may drive you insane. Bass so deep and ponderous it will drive the pets out of the house. And talk about SAF ... these are certain to attract nothing but jaw-dropping stares from your guests.
This pair has been heavily modded with a special NASA-developed accoustically inert, energy absorbing carpet on the outside surfaces (as used in the lounge on board the Space Shuttle) which completely eliminates baffle diffractions. Also features a time aligning grille over the woofer which makes use of focused tachyon particles to solve phase anomalies.
