3 channel amp

Guys, I am in need of a small 3 channel amp just to take care of my center channel and surrounds. My thoughts are a 3 channel ICE power amp from somewhere like D-Sonic, or 3 of those little Outlaw Audio monoblocks. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I have heard mixed reviews on the Outlaw sound quality.  I have tried a bunch of different icepower amps and enjoyed all of them.  How much power do you need and what is the budget?

If it was me I would probably go for 3 mono block icepower amps.  If you could find 3 Red Dragon Amp-1s (very rare) that would fit the bill nicely and only cost around $750.  Murano also makes 100wpc mono icepower amps that sell for around $300 each.  The D-Sonic seems quite pricey at 250x3 for $1675.  Wyred 4 sound makes a 100wpcx4 for $1250, maybe they could do a 100x3 for ~$1k, but it may be to physically large.

Thanks for the tips. I will look into a few of those. Can you tell me a little more about the mixed reviews of the Outlaws?

I haven't heard them but have read many mixed reviews on other forums.  Some have upgraded from Outlaw amps to Earthquake and at least one from the M200s to a icepower amp.  Most of the time they are described as being very good for surrounds but a lacking for R/C/L duty.  I recall some complaining that they sound a little bland, some describe them as dynamically flat, and some said there was a little bit of haziness or veiled sound.

I personally have not had a chance to listen to them, but have owned many icepower amps and the Cinenova...among others.  I am always impressed by the cheaper icepower amps and eventually will purchase a surround one once I can get a 4x100 for >$1000.
