I would like to gauge interest in my Paul Hynes custom made amps. The time has come to either sell or put them in the loft due to space, other commitments, low waf etc. Basically I was mucking about with a Fender Pro-reverb guitar amp years ago and thought it sounded quite good playing recorded music so I asked Paul if he'd be interested in making a 'hi-fi' version. He was, and did but it took 9 months. So I've got 2 integrated tube monoblock amplifiers with tone controls and separate, very stiff power supplies. It's not hi-fi as we know it but I've always liked them. Well, sometimes I find them annoying and sometimes sublime. 12AX7s and 6L6GCs (Svetlana, recently upgraded and hardly used). I like the honesty of the sound; and tonal colour can sometimes be amazing. They are really not pretty. They're orange and the tone controls are placed higher on one than the other because Paul made a mistake. Anyway at the height of things I was doing all that upsampling Secret Rabbit code stuff into a Lavry DA10, the amps, Impulse Lalis and a Genesis G928 sub. You've got a volume control on each amp so it's handy having something like the Lavry with it's own. I know the whole thing is completely mad but they are located in the UK and I'm sure I could arrrange to ship anywhere. If you want pics and any more info drop me a line.
