Well the critics are divided on Kill Bill.  Either they love it or they abhor it.  There doesn't seem to be any middle ground.  Having just come back from it I can truthfully say that it was an excelent movie.  I can't wait for Volume 2.  But I also see why some critics hate it.  It walks that fine line between insanity and genius.

What did the rest of you think?

Saw it last night and I must report that I clearly fall into the second group---abhor it.

I just could not find any highlights to mention with this flick.  Pure garbage...IME.

It would have been better if it was more realistic.

Ok.  Make her the baddest sworsdsman on the planet.

Ok.  Put her up against some people at the SAME time.....But don't put her up against 88 swordsmen.   :nono:

In such movies, when he hero is taking on a group.  Each person attacks rather individually.  In reality, they would attack at the SAME time.  Then it would be GAME OVER for Uma.   :?

I would love to see a well choreographed movie where the thread of believability is tied into amazing heroism.  It would be accepted and liked much more by the audience than being tongue and cheek over the top.

There is no substitute for adrenaline, fear and unertainty of reality....IMHO.
