I have a plasma and an LCD and I can definitely say I like the plasma better, as long as there's no direct light on it or a reflection of a lamp shining back on me. The resolution is great. The LCD just doesn't cut it for sports either, with any kind of action getting blurred - like a golfer putting, the putter shaft looks jaggedy instead of a straight piece of steel.
