Old Garrard changer?  If so, they weren't so very nice... :(

If it's a DUAL unit, it might be, tho, for that kinda' money.

Forget it. It's not nice. I'm not sure but it looks like a BSR.

Hey!

Ooh! I love this "Name that turntable" game! Is there a prize if my guess is right?

Anyway, I think you should email the seller and ask what brand and which model. :D

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

If Frank get's the prize and it's a BSR.....truly, stay away from it.  Whether Idler or Belt Drive, the BSR's have reputation as dogs.

Great table for old worn out 45's of Elvis or Shirley Temple.......................or would make a good boat anchor or take off the tonearm and make a record cleaning machine out of it. Yea, that's it. Record cleaning machine.

or, just let someone else have the POS.  aa

It is, as the seller said, a Benjamin-Miracord Model 50 Rim Drive fully automatic record changer with interchangeable spindles. I remember these being sold at "catalog merchants" when I was a kid.

I believe they, along with PE turntables, were German built. Both brands attempted to compete with Dual. Neither came close. Even on a budget, you can do far better. Also, I'll bet replacement parts are scarce. It isn't worth the bother.
