I have a 20 x 30 room and need to place the speakers near the back wall. I am trying to keep the speakers under $2,000 if possible and mainly looking in the used market. I had the hornshoppe horns before and they were fabulous but I have to move my audio system in a room without corners for the horns. Thanks!

 If you want some friendly advise,  keep the HORNS and add a CUBE. Ed made this bass augmenter so people in your situation didn't have to use the corners to achieve the excellent results.
I have Ed's HORNS and CUBE in a 17 1/2 x 13 x 8 ft room. I have the HORNS set up on the long wall. I have them 4 ft from the side walls and 14" from the back wall. The CUBE is tucked in the corner of my room the driver  4" facing the back wall. I sit 8 ft from the speakers..  With his CUBE I get seamless bass that is just mind boggling.To say I am happy with the sound is an understatement! As you well know Ed's HORNS work beautifully with tube amps

I have heard that amp with Quad 2805, it was incredible. A pair of ESL63s could be bought and restored for 2000, get you 80% to 2805. Really great amp BTW.
