Most of our kids have decided on the direction of their projects at this point.  We have MTM's, open baffle line arrays, 8" two ways, and 6" two ways so far.

My baby is still working!  It is grown up and on it's own.  Glad to see that it is having fun measuring speakers.

Projects are due in three weeks.  All the procrastinators are starting to feel the pinch!  This photo is from about a week ago and is a student from one of the other high schools measuring the woofers to see which tweeters would match best.  Some are doing things very well, others....... http://www.audiocircle.com/image.php?id=14241

Some are really starting to make the speaker projects come together.  Candace has her box built (double thickness front baffle), window bracing, and homemade open cell/heavy vinyl/open cell foam dampening.  Other than the box being a bit wide, I would have not made many changes if I had built it.  Front baffle rounded- this girl (and her partner Shelby) have done a really fine job so far.  Now for the crossover......

Love the composite damping they made.

I couldn't help notice the MDF edges splitting on the enclosure sides. They should be pre drilling the holes slight larger than the diameter of the shaft portion of the screw to prevent that.
