Sold my 2300B ampliifers. These tubes were my backups.
The JJ/Tesla were played for about 6 hours. Just burned them in and got an idea of their sonic characteristics. Matchng was done by Tube Depot, which is one of the better ompanies at sorting and matching output tubes. Original boxes and test sheets. $150 a pair.
Shuguang packs their 300B in a very nice box. These tubes have maybe 5 hours on them, just enough to burn them in and get an idea of thier sonics. These came very close to a pair of Sophia 300B meshplates, which are my favorite 300B tubes. Matching was done by the operations supervisor in the Shuguang factory. A little more vibrant than the JJ, both tubes have a different presentation. $120 a pair.
Need a good solid state pre-amp. Would consider a partial trade for the right pre.
