Paired with what amp? Through the school of hard knocks *I* found that it is often best to get an amp and preamp from the same designer. I have an Aurieges and Montille and they are quite good. If Shindo had a 'better' line stage I would be interested. Just be careful trying to assemble a system with components you have not heard together.
