Still on topic of welcoming everybody, but off the topic of what belongs here, I have a couple questions. Since Woodsyi and EchiDna are the new 'head guys' around here it appears I'll be staring at your names quite a bit more than in the past. So, that being said, EchiDna, WHAT is that thing in you avatar, and HOW do I pronounce your name?

Like I said, since you two are headmasters of the the Circle, it would be nice to not be in wonder. 

Mr. Pub - Interesting (but not suprising) about your college campus findings. I say not suprising because the physical product they don't want to deal with cost too much.
Both in price = Since music in MP3 form is free.......Hey, it's a college campus. You can't tell me there isn't USB cables bridging a couple laptops at lunchtime in the cafeteria swapping files.
And in size = In a college dorm space is at a premium. A vinyl collection with a turntable is a space hog compaired to MP3's on a laptop.
Also in portability = Again, MP3/WAV's on a laptop is a portability dream. Vinyl....not for young kids 'on-the-go'.

Hi Bob, it's an Echidna, I guess you would say it something like "ee-kid-na". one of only two remaining egg laying mammals in the world, the other is the platypus.  The guy in the pic, is the same critter with a gas mask on, a remnant from my computer gaming days when I came to own this moniker
