Yeah, a couple of years ago he was selling a complete Orion system for a deep discount.

He was looking to duplicate the sound but with more dynamic headroom, to be achieved with multiple drivers.

At that time I bookmarked his dipole PA system, which I thought was a very promising design, and now I see it foreshadows some recent trends in home speaker design:
