Hi Bunky,

A friend brought his cambridge audio 840c cdp over and we compared it with my digital system.  I use a highly modified pioneer pds507 (g&d clock and digital output board) and modright perpetual technologies p3a/p1a combo with great effect.  I was really shocked at how good the 840c sounded and thought it was at least as good as my digital system.  My friend bought it in hong kong for $1100au whilst I paid about 3 x as much.
