Less than 6 months old, original owner bought new from local authorized dealer and upgraded with a quad of Genalex Reissue Gold Lion Kt-88's and Sylvania Vt-231 6sn7's and Sylvania Vt-229's for 6sl7's. I am sticking with Cayin but buying the a-100 from my dealer. I am keeping my hornshoppe horns but adding a pair of Magnepan 3.6's so I need some more juice! I've heard this amp at Dave's driving his Horns - and this is a real sweetheart of an amp.
Dave - email me - do you have an amp for the Maggies yet? If not I can bring my AVA Fet Valve Ultra 550 (250wpc; hybrid) over to test drive them puppies - power a plenty.

One of the best systems I ever heard was this amp into Quad 2805 playing Grieg solo piano songs. It was just about perfect even with stock tubes. And quads are pretty revealing.  Nice amp.
