I thought i read a rumour on another site that oppo was in the process of or about to offer a blue ray player. Anyone know if this is remotely true.

They have only ACQUIRED the Bluray License.

"All that was mentioned was that they have the BD license (required to start any work on a BD device) and received "reference sample information". The key word in that quote is: information.
