I've been away from the board for a while, and was wondering what the status is on the new pre-amps?  I may be needing an HT-bypass capability in my system soonish, and this would be a wonderful excuse to swap to a TVC....

Hello!

You are not being a pest at all! I was holding off posting until I was finally done. I am very close now - I should have the first 3 production units built this week. Then I'll have a few weeks to get stocked up on parts to get the first real production started. I'm quite happy with the results. I decided to put in a buffer option and although it was originally just a kinda throw in "just in case a source needs it"  kinda thing I managed to get obsessed with finding something decent enough.......  It was a long haul to get this one finished off!

I am about to be testing the latest prototype step-ups - on the bench one in particlar looked very promising - sonic testing this week should let me decide if finally I'll be headed to shipping step-ups again......

It would be really nice to be shipping something.
