Hi fellas,

My family will be visiting the Lone Star state from March 15th until March 23rd. Our home base is Houston, but we will be travelling to Austin and San Antonio as well. Unfortunately I can't meet up with Danny or with Arthur up near Dallas because of scheduling conflicts. So I'm looking to audition quite a few GR and/or RAW speakers. Here is what I am interested:

OB-7
AV-3
RAW Acoustics RA-8's
LS-9's or LS-6's.

Or really any other RAW or GR speaker! I'm seriously looking into the OB-7 or RA-8's at this time. I'm really interested in listening to a transmission line system as well, hence the AV-3's. The LS-9's/LS-6's is just for kicks. I can't afford them right now, but its nice to aspire to something!

You can PM directly so I don't cause a flood of responses and waste Danny's webspace! I will promptly bring some bruskies if you will entertain me! Thanks again, I realize it takes a lot to invite a stranger to your home!

There is an OB-7 Plus pair in Garland.

I think there is a pair of LS-9's in Fort Worth and I think there is a pair of LS-6's down there too.

There are many pairs of A/V-3's all over that area as well.

Okay, one last bump fellas, I'll be in Houston as of tonight! Then off to San Antonio for Sunday and Monday, then Austin for Tues, Wed, Thursday and back in Houston on Friday, Saturday.

I'll check e-mail from time to time. I'll be seeing 'Hank' very soon. And a dealer in San Antonio to listen to the BE-718's  aa. Thanks again,

Damn, I am going to have visitors come in on Monday and be out of town till work on Friday (Going to the Beach!). I wish we could meet up! Please pm Hank he is here in Austin and has some Raw speakers that he built and sound good. FYI there will be OB7s and CLS9s here in Austin shortly (we both are awaiting shipment) If you can get down here again maybe they will be in and I would love to have you here and for sure can get you in front of the CLS9s

Well...we should be visiting Austin from time to time. We have family there as well.

In a few months, Austin should be the holy grail for GR designs with the OB7 and LS9's!

Not to hijack thread but couldnt help but notice some OB7's headed to the area. I have been toying with this build and would also love to have a listen. Moved to Austin 8 months ago and love it. Own a pair of Mini Strata's but thinking about something new and diy. aa

Correct, they are mine and are being finished up by Denny at custom concepts. I got the 130X woofers. I would also love to hear your minis!

Yep, Anand plans to come by my house Wednesday PM to listen to the RAV-6's that I designed the cabinets for, and Danny did his crossover design voodoo for.

I would love to hear the minis as well, given that Danny designed them. I really want to get a good idea of his sound.

I am on the list for the CLS-9's and once they arrive you are more than welcome to come on over and give them a listen, you're in for a treat!
Once I do get my new speakers I plan to have a little "Speaker debut" party, should be fun. I'll put up a post once I get those babies.
